4 to 6 months of pregnancy, 13 weeks of pregnancy:






Second trimester starts with 13 weeks to 28 weeks of your pregnancy. In the second trimester your bump is growing. Doctor will advice you for your 2nd scan or ultrasound test. It is the middle three months of your pregnancy.

you may also feel baby's movements in your bump. It  is a very happy moment when you feel it. you actually feel now that there is a baby growing in your tummy. In second trimester you may also know your baby's gender. It is prohibited in  our country(India).
In second trimester you also see appearance of stretch marks on baby bump. So you can use lotion everyday for stretch marks from second trimester. There are so many brand's lotions are available in market.  your breast changes in size and nipples are also changes. some watery liquid may also come from your breasts. It is not common to all it may happen to some or not with some.


 WHAT TO EAT IN SECOND TRIMESTER:


You need extra 340 calories in second trimester. Eat more vitamin D, magnesium, and calcium rich food. calcium and vitamin D is very beneficial in baby's strong bones and teeth development.





Make sure to include omega 3 and magnesium in your daily diet as it is very essential in baby's brain development. walnuts are rich in omega 3. And also include the followings in your daily diet.
  • lean meat
  • cooked seafood
  • leafy green vegetables
  • breakfast cereals
  • nuts
  • fruits rich in vitamins
Don't eat unpasteurized products, seafood or raw seafood, caffeine, alcohol, and artificial sweetener. Take small meals every 2 hours. don't be fully hungry then eating food, besides eat less and healthy food on time. And try to avoid fast food and spicy food.
