Every parents has a wish of healthy baby. Often the health of children is not healthy due to premature birth. Normally at the time of birth the weight of baby varies from 2.5 kg to 3.5 or 4 kgs. underweight and unhealthy children may face some kind of problems and diseases.
Parents should not worry that their child is underweight if their child is active and healthy. Less weight may be due to the genetics and child may not get that much wight but they are more active.
Problem is that when your child is under weight and not that much active and becomes ill often. Then you must see to a doctor for better advice along with the healthy diet for weight gain for your children.
You can start solid food to your baby after 6 months of completion. There may be some problems to introduce solid food to your baby because baby takes time for accepting it.

Egg:
Eggs are the most nutritious food it has most protein in its egg white. Egg yolk is also beneficial to health. Egg yolk contains fat which helps to gain weight in your baby.

Banana:

Banana is cool in nature so be careful to giving to your baby. If your child has cold then avoid giving banana.

Potatoes and sweet potatoes:
Potatoes contains vitamins, calcium, magnesium and carbohydrates which is beneficial to health of baby.

Snack time:
Feed healthy snacks to your kids in between meals. Offer them interesting snacks which they like to eat, like make it looks like any character or animal or anything else you can make.
Offer snacks which children loves to eat and make them happy. Give them some cakes, chocolate and chips once a day so they will love their snacks.
Make finger foods from vegetables and fruits. Feed them some nuts as snacks, like almonds , cashew nuts, peanuts, walnuts, dates, etc.

Make children feel comfortable and happy at eating meals. Making your child’s eating time a fun time is good for you and also to your child.

If your child is a older and they refuse all these than you can give them bribe ( yeah I know it is bad to give bribe to children but to make them eat sometime it will good) like ‘ I will play with them if they eat.’, ‘I will give you chocolate or candy if you finish your meal.’

• Don’t force children to eat meal or finish their meals, if they are refusing to eat then give them some time after that feed them.
• Don’t feed them same dish everyday change the dishes and taste so they like to eat.
• In between eating meals give them some water so that they can easily eat their food.
• Don’t give them too much of junk foods.
